Koh Samui, Thailand

Koh Samui is the 2nd largest island in Thailand, after Phuket (which we will visit in 6 days). The ship anchored in the bay and we tendered ashore for about 15 minutes. Only had about 4 hours to enjoy this stop, so we chose to ride elephants at a wildlife camp. Our excursion also included seeing a small waterfall, a show with young elephants and monkeys that climb palm trees to pick coconuts, a cooking demonstration of Green Papaya Salad, and a quick look at how latex is collected from rubber trees. Would love to come back here for a longer visit in the future!  Modern and beautiful beaches.
